Mercedes SLK230 Fan Controller Wiring
A real cooling-system case showing how PSS packaged and wired a custom fan controller for a Mercedes SLK230. This install covers protected power feed routing, controller mounting, fan shroud wiring, and loom finishing around the radiator area.
Project Overview
The Problem
The Mercedes SLK230 project needed clean electric-fan control with wiring that would survive engine-bay heat, vibration, and service work. Off-the-shelf wiring was not enough; the install needed proper routing, strain relief, and a controller position that stayed accessible.
The Solution
PSS built the controller package, fed power with dedicated wiring, mounted the control hardware close to the fan assembly, and protected the wiring run with loom so the cooling system could be serviced without guessing what was added later.
Status
Installed wiring case documented on a live vehicle. The controller logic remains customizable per project, but the packaging and routing shown here reflect real installed work rather than bench-only prototype photos.
Technical Summary
Note: This is a prototype module in testing. It is not a certified universal product. Each application requires engineering review for the specific vehicle, wiring, and system requirements.
